In winter, the selections from that palette are allowed to express themselves in more robust beers with darker, more comforting tones and slightly more alcohol. Whether sipped at the table to complement a meal, at a small gathering with friends or in quiet contempla- tion during the festive season, beer is versatile enough to pair with any moment—even unex- pected or spontaneous ones.
