At long last, our favourite time of year has arrived, along with a bumper crop of fresh, new wines to fill our glasses as we get outside and soak up the sun. Here are our picks of what’s in store to celebrate the season.

Surveying this summer’s flock of new wine products is like spotting colourful plumage on exotic tropical birds. They come in red, white and every shade of rosé, from blushing pink to vibrant coral. They fizz, bubble and spritz as well as they smoothly sip. You can pour them frommagnums, drink them from sleek aluminum bottles and cans, and even drink like a rock star. Summer’s on!
