Also, consider Inn on the Twenty (Jordan) when you’re feeling flush, or tuck into the comforts of the more wallet-friendly Jordan House Tavern & Lodging (Jordan). AIRBNB AND VRBO From a romantic getaway to staying with friends, there are so many options to accommodate your adventure. The bonus is that most bookings offer the opportunity to kick back with food items and a bottle you picked up along the way.

The Watering Can Flower Market, Vineland and St. Catharines In prime produce season, there are a ton of roadside farm stands for Ontario produce, but, while we wait for the season to arrive, we can get organized by grabbing seedlings at this institution. Even sign up for a creative garden- and plant-themed workshop while you’re at it.

MAKE YOURSELF AT HOME

When I’m travelling with friends, we seek out a spot with a huge kitchen island so the formal dinner can be skipped in favour of unpacking the goods we’ve collected throughout the day and spreading them out for an epic “Charcuterie Island” grazing meal instead.

Ravine Vineyard Estate Winery (St. David’s) opened a newish bakery on weekends; go for the potato chips and focaccia.
