Cooking with cinnamon fills your home with an inviting scent that’s the aromatic equivalent of a fall sweater. To highlight its diversity in the kitchen, we’ve got five autumnal recipes starring the beloved spice. On the savoury side, we’ve infused tomato sauce with a cinnamon stick to serve with roasted cauliflower and chickpeas; we’ve also let ground cinnamon work its Moroccan magic in a fragrant lamb tajine. For dessert, there’s a skillet cake using cinnamon three ways, thin, crispy cookies called arlettes and a tangy lemon tart with a cinnamon crust.
