Autumn markets can be dizzying. It seems like everything has shown up at once—the last of the berries, all the roots, the brassicas, the plums! It’s time for a celebration of all that good stuff before it disappears. And because there aren’t many warm days left, we know you probably don’t want to spend too much time in the kitchen—you can save those long cozy hours by the stove for the blustery days ahead. A good feast, equal parts shopping local, cooking simply, and eating with friends, is just about perfect right now.
