Ontario’s Bounty Autumn’s here, the harvest is gathered in, and farm stands and markets are overflowing with produce. In Ontario’s wine country, a year’s work in the vineyard is now coming to fruition, and we take a celebratory look at our province’s classic varietals, with recipes to match. Wine is about fun and enjoyment, as our unfussy guide makes clear. The same casual vibe lies behind our Friendsgiving menu, with a brisket braised in Coca-Cola taking the place of a turkey. And it wouldn’t be autumn without a pinch of pumpkin spice—though you’ll never guess all the delicious things our experts do with it. Quite right, too! Food and drink deserve to be front and centre at this bountiful time of the year.
