Summer is coming. You can feel it in the air and see it all around this radiant green province. It’s certainly something to celebrate and we have many inspiring ideas to help the fun begin. June 20 is the summer solstice, the longest day of the year, and we have a menu full of light and merriment in hon- our of the occasion. Our wine cocktails reveal how deliciously wine can play with other drinks when given a splash of imagi- nation. And we have five delectable recipes for condiments you can make yourself, with dazzling ways you can use them. We’d also like to say that liqueurs aren’t just for Christmas and cocktails; they can be integrated into simple summer des- serts to thrill the taste buds. Over the years, we’ve come up with many different ways to mark Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. This time we’ve turned the tables, honouring momwith a barbecue and dad with a brunch—two perfect ways to celebrate family and the first beautiful weeks of summer. EARLY SUMMER
