SEASONAL  SPIRITED SUNDAES

CHOCOLATE-PEANUT SUNDAE

OPTIONAL GARNISHES Chopped mini peanut butter cups Toffee bits

Choose any type of peanut-butter ice cream— with or without chocolate—for this nut-lovers’ sundae. 2 to 3 cups (500 to 750 mL) chocolate-chunk ice cream 2 to 3 cups (500 to 750 mL) peanut-butter ice cream Stout and Salty Caramel Sauce (recipe on page 128) 1½ cups (375 mL) crumbled peanut butter cookies, 12 to 15 cookies ½ cup (125 mL) coarsely chopped dry-roasted peanuts

Chocolate curls Whipped cream

1 Just before serving, layer ice creams, sauce, crumbled cookies and peanuts in sundae glasses or dessert dishes. Top with your choice of garnishes. Serves 6
