THE DARKER SIDE OF ROSÉ
Rich, Bold and Beautiful Fuller in body, concentrated and rich, these wines often have deeper colouring due to extra time soaking on the skins, which can also add texture and a little tannin. Dark-skinned grapes can include Mourvèdre, Cinsault, Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. PAIRINGS The big smoke and char flavours of grilled meats, vegetables and plant-based proteins match well. Burgers, mixed grills and full flavoured sauces (even those with a little spicy heat) are elevated by these robust rosés. OCCASIONS Think backyard barbecue. These wines have the body and heft to stand up to a little extra chill, Made primarily with Cinsault and Grenache, this wine offers berries, citrus and a hint of ginger spice. Dry, medium-bodied, crisp and very refreshing with full-flavoured foods.
