Winemakers Derek Barnett and Spencer Mayer earned 23 gold medal scores in one year and Karlo was on the “Top Ten Cutting Edge Wines in the World” list, “The Best of the Best of Ontario”, “The Top Ten Best Ontario Wines of the Year” and on “Ontario’s Top 20 Wineries” list for the last 3 consecutive years. Walk the vineyard to visit their Instagram-worthy dry-stone bridge. The historic Speakeasy hosts weekly “Dinner Jams”, “Life Drawing”, “Tasty Trivia”, “Bitchin’ Bingo” and “Fourth Friday Fondues” along with “Dinner and a Show” Saturday nights.

Keint-he is a boutique winery with a focus on varietals that are typically grown in Burgundy, specifically Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Centrally located in Prince Edward County’s wine region, Keint-he produces domestic wines that exhibit European minerality and acidity. The result is award-winning, terroir-based wines that reflect our standard for quality and the character of the region in which they were produced.

LACEY ESTATES WINERY

LIGHTHALL VINEYARDS

The Lacey family purchased the property in 1982 and dug into the Hillier clay-loam soils of their property on the Closson Road in 2003 to plant what would become 12 acres. They made their first wines in 2007. The focus is on hand-crafted, small-production wines from their estate vines. Winemaker Kimball Lacey is sinking his County roots deeper every year while Liz Lacey runs the well-appointed tasting room and retail store.

Founded in 2008 with over 60 acres of vines near the South Shore of Prince Edward County. Our focus is on still and sparkling wines from Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Vidal, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. Unoaked and lightly oaked wines let the natural terroir of PEC shine through. Try the unique experience of matching our wine to our sheep’s milk cheese sourced from a single herd on a local family farm. Flights with our staff are available inside or out as the weather permits.
