Willow Springs Winery was established by the Testa family, and has been recognized as a pioneer of the Italian style of wine production. Willow Springs Winery was the first winery with a vineyard in York Region to receive VQA Ontario Certification and the first to produce VQA wines on the Oak Ridges Moraine. Inspired by travel, the chateau at Windrush shares amazing views, art and wine to rival the world. “We had a farm in Hockley where grapes grew wild. Its sandy soil and breezes across the bench fanned heat from the valley below and pleaded to be the perfect vineyard”.
