Winemaker Jonathan McLean is crafting exceptional single-vineyard wines from the Niagara Escarpment terroir. Established by vintner Taylor Emerson in 2017, Black Bank Hill’s vision and passion is to combine the art and practices of grape growing and winemaking at a single site with an uncompromising focus on quality. Located overlooking Ball’s Falls, this 42-acre property boasts a 200- year-old barn and a 90-seat multi-level deck overlooking the vineyard. The Patio Bistro is open May to September 11-2:30pm. Visit the “Gouda Girl Cheese Bunker” for assorted cheeses & charcuterie boxes. Known for our Stargazing Nights with roof top observatory. Calamus hosts events in the Barn loft and outside barn for up to 150 people.

Cave Spring stands at the centre of charming Jordan Village. The Pennachetti family grasped the potential of the Beamsville Bench in the mid-70s. Today their wines faithfully capture the terroir of this prime sub-appellation. The full range of wines – centred on Riesling and Cabernet Franc – offers exemplary expressions of the varieties Niagara does best. Enjoy curated wine flights paired with local charcuterie.

The winery’s second tasting room is nestled at the heart of its iconic Cave Spring Vineyard on the Beamsville Bench. Enjoy the winery’s range of internationally acclaimed wines at the sustainably farmed vineyard, overlooking Lake Ontario, where they are grown. Centred on Riesling and Cabernet Franc, the full portfolio of wines captures this terroir with precision and elegance.

CLOUDSLEY CELLARS

Cloudsley Cellars is a small-lot, premium winery that is quickly gaining a reputation for fine cool climate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Produced with minimal intervention, the wines reflect the unique terroir of the Twenty Mile Bench sub-appellation and show vibrant acidity, excellent balance, minerality and energy.

Commisso Estate is a 32-acre estate winery and Bed & Breakfast located on the 75-year-old Commisso farm at the top of the Niagara Escarpment. The winery focuses on premium, small-lot VQA wines, particularly Appassimento wines and big bold reds. Situated amidst lush vineyards and breathtaking gardens it is also the perfect venue for corporate events and private functions.
