After gathering dust on the side- lines for a few seasons, liqueurs are making a move to take back some shelf space—and atten- tion—from those other spirits. Who wins contests like this? Easy: we do. We’re the winners, because the new fruit, spice and herbal expressions are genuinely stunning—flavours we’re not likely to forget this time around. Plus, we get to bring back that old holiday tradition of pulling out all the fancy bottles for our very favourite people at get-togethers.
