Dear Friends, The festive season is almost upon us, and the LCBO will be ready—and grateful—to play our part in all the celebrations across Ontario. This year we have a more varied and innovative array of seasonal products than ever, including advent calendars, multi-packs, different bottle sizes and gift packaging, plus a great range of sparkling wines to suit every occasion and budget. Look for them in our stores and online, or in our Holiday Gift Guide, which is available both digitally and in print; and of course, you can find a multitude of gifting and entertaining ideas right here in the pages of Food & Drink . This issue of the magazine also contains our newest Spirit of Sustainability (SoS) Impact Report. I am incredibly proud of the way the LCBO has taken the initiative in working towards a better Ontario, and of the success we have had in collaboration with our Good Partners in the industry, our dedicated employees, and with you, our generous customers. Together we have raised over $14 million in the last year alone. Our programs focus on every aspect of sustainability from the global environment to the workplace to local communities, with diversity, inclusion and equity always front of mind. At the same time, the LCBO delivered a $2.55 billion dividend to the Government of Ontario to support services such as healthcare, education and infrastructure. The report contains all the data and details and I think you’ll agree it makes for very uplifting reading. Meanwhile, the work goes on. Our Holiday Fundraising campaign gets under way on November 28 in support of Ontario’s four children’s hospitals—CHEO Foundation, Children’s Health Foundation, McMaster Children’s Hospital Foundation, and SickKids Foundation—together with Campfire Circle. Another resource you may find useful is a new page on LCBO.com—What’s On This Month at the LCBO. This is the place to discover all the great customer experiences we create each month, both in our stores and externally, including tastings, celebrity appearances, exclusive Vintages dinners and the many product discovery and educational events we’re launching this Winter. Definitely something to look forward to! Thanks again for including us in your festivities over the coming weeks.
