LCBO Food & Drink Holiday 2024

WINE

Light and Bright Just because red wines are in the spotlight at this time of year doesn’t mean you should skip the white and rosé aisles. Bring them to the table for holiday entertaining, festive brunches, and before or after dinner. Having lighter choices on hand is a winning strategy to please all guests.

Lunch and Brunch Or whenever…. Lighter dishes call for lighter wines, and lower-alcohol options are also a great idea.

Aromas of strawberry and watermelon carry over into vibrant fruit flavours. LCBO 25462, $13.95 Lakeview’s pretty pink blend is low in alcohol (8 per cent ABV) and sugar (1 g per serving) but more than delivers with its floral and berry aromatics. The taste is a delicious swirl of fresh strawberry, redcurrant and raspberry. FOOD STYLING BY CHRISTOPHER ST.
