A POPULAR COMFORT FOOD THAT’S EASY TO RECREATE AT HOME, CACIO E PEPE ADAPTS BEAUTIFULLY TO OUR VARIATIONS ON THE CLASSIC . Cacio e pepe translated means “cheese and pepper,” the two stars of this simple Roman dish. It has long been a classic, but has recently been enjoying a renaissance, popping up on hot-spot menus all over town. The perfect combination of simple ingredients and good technique, here we have included other complementary ingredients and techniques for a bit of a changeup.
