LCBO Food & Drink Spring 2022
GOOD NEWS AND GOOD PARTNERS
Working together to infuse Ontario with opportunity
With the support of impact partners like Charton Hobbs and Moët Hennessy, LCBO’s Spirit of Inclusion Initiative aims to create opportunities for diverse women to enter, advance and thrive in the beverage alcohol industry. Established nearly a century ago, Charton Hobbs is a leading ambassador of premium brands in Canada. Together with Moët Hennessy, the world’s largest luxury wine and spirits company, they are committed to advancing gender equality and diversity, including right here in Ontario through a variety of programs at Brock University.
These programs include: a research scholar position to gather data and insights on industry diversity; a partnership program with France’s Burgundy School of Business, geared toward diverse women specializing in wine management; and bursaries to help women gain global wine business expertise through the Wine Business Management Certificate.
