Woven Handmade Owner and creator Amy Billinghurst brings together minimalist design and neutral colours with meticulous craftsmanship for home goods that are as functional as they are fabulous-looking.
Love the look? Matching placemats, coasters and trivets are also available.
DESIGN INFLUENCE?
HOWARE THEY MADE? Each piece is construct- ed with 100 percent North American cotton rope and hand-stitched with natural or grey thread, then finished off with a leather tab. No two are exactly the same shape or design.
WHAT STYLES ARE THERE?
Amy credits having lived on Canada’s West Coast for lending a casual feel to her creations. She’s also inspired by the minimalist aesthetics of Scan- dinavian design.
Woven Handmade baskets come in a variety of shapes and sizes, ranging from small bowls for keys and trinkets to baskets large enough for a house plant, bath towels or cosy throws. See the full collection at wovenhandmade.ca.
