Canada’s only commercial Teaching Winery is housed in the Wine Visitor + Education Centre with Winemaker and professor Gavin Robertson overseeing the students and teaching vineyard on the St. David’s Bench. Thebroad portfolio of intensely flavoured wines is topped by the premium Dean’s List labels. While visiting the winery, be sure to inquire about the Single Batch Ciders, or craft spirits from the Teaching Distillery, and stop by the College’s Teaching Brewery & Retail Store and Benchmark Restaurant.

More than 30 years ago, owners John and Barbara Neufeld saw the immense potential of their 95-hectare Niagara Lakeshore property. Situated in the fruit belt, the vineyard first grew grapes for consumption before the family turned its focus to winemaking. Today, Palatine Hills Estate Winery is truly a family affair, with two generations of Neufelds sharing their passion for winemaking and continuing to produce award-winning wines enjoyed by many.

Experience Wine Country at the ultimate wine and food lover’s playground with tours and seminars throughout the day, including Niagara’s only igloo-like lounge where you’ll don a Peller Estates parka and taste Icewine at -10°C.
