March Madness ST. PATRICK’S DAY GETAWAY With St. Patrick’s Day on a Monday this year, why not make a long weekend of it and visit an American city with deep Irish roots? Chicago famously dyes its river green on the Saturday before to coincide with the parade. Boston’s parade runs on the Sunday in South Boston, where you can enjoy a pint at the iconic L St Tavern after. As for Irish pubs, New York can’t be beat—it’s the home of McSorley’s Old Ale House, the oldest continuously run saloon in the city.
