WHOLE LATTE LOVE Sub hazelnuts or almonds in the pistachio cream for an instant flavour shift. Serve iced lattes in tall, narrow glasses to highlight the layers and help slow the melt. WAFFLE GOOD Fresh fruit instantly makes croffles heartier. Add fresh berries or sautéed apples along with a dollop of whipped ricotta and toasted almonds for a brunch-worthy dish.
There’s nothing better than waking up on vacation, heading to a local café and treating yourself to an elevated morning beverage and treat. I’m in my element trying new pastries, sipping inventive espresso drinks and soaking up the vibe. This relaxing holiday experience can easily be replicated at home. I’ve created two drinks and three pastries—from a sublime pistachio-infused iced latte to a morning bun with Asian flair—inspired by places I’ve visited or lived. They’ll turn a coffee break into a 20-minute staycation.
