COLD COMFORTS

After some outdoor winter activities, it is always fun to gather friends and family together, get cozy and enjoy the warmth inside. These simmered cocktails are a wonderful way to share, as they can be made in advance and only get better when left to simmer. While alcohol will burn off as the temperature rises, keeping it lower than a boil will prevent it from dissipating altogether, while the flavours meld and fill the room with delightful and comforting scents. Each of these recipes can be made without alcohol for a wonderful warm mocktail that serves 6.
