EL ENEMIGO EL MIRADOR SINGLE VINEYARD BONARDA 2022 Rivadavia, Mendoza (Adrianna Catena, Alejandro Vigil) The 2022 Bonarda Single Vineyard El Mirador hails from Rivadavia in East Mendoza. Lighter in comparison to other sites’ expression of the variety, it reveals dark and red fruit with a subtle trace of balsamic herbs. ATAMISQUE CATALPA MALBEC 2023 Tupungato, Valle de Uco, Mendoza, old vines A juicy interpretation of malbec. The richness of the fruity flavors is what stands out first, one of those wines that make your mouth water as soon as you smell it. The palate is very fluid, the tannins are round, and the acidity is fresh. Everything seems to be in its place. This comes from a selection of blocks at the Atamisque estate in San José, more than 1,200 meters above sea level in the Uco Valley. Half of the wine was aged in used barrels for a year. SOPHENIA ALTOSUR ORGANIC CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2024 Gualtallary, Tupungato, Valle de Uco, Mendoza

Another of Altosur’s excellent values for money. This one was in oak for four months, and that has given it a spicy and somewhat chocolatey tone, but it has not lost its fruitiness. Aromas and flavors of ripe red fruit in a body that is light, but with very firm tannins. A sure bet for a barbecue.
