This is a light bodied, smooth and gentle red, very typical of Valpolicella. Expect sour cherry/straw- berry fruit, some florality and slightly earthy notes. It drinks easily, with good fruit, juicy acidity and soft tannin. Shows very good length. Tasted twice in late 2023, with December example much improved. Medium cherry red with purple reflections and a broad watery edge. With delicate aromas of cherry and plum, and red fruits of the forest underneath, the wine has a subtle herbal savouriness. Medium- bodied, it is taut and mineral with a red-cherry core, fine tannins and a delicately leafy finish and salty aftertaste. Very typical grape- fruit pith, pine needles and lime create a fresh and versatile white, while there is plenty of intensity on the palate from the canto rodado soils of the region. This is a ripe, bright and generous albarino verging on tropical with lifted aromas of peach, pineapple and starfruit. Quite floral as well, with lemon-lime.
