The wine has a starbright appearance with aromas of papaya and under ripe pineapple. The palate has peachy tones, pineapple core, and a touch of lemon bar sweetness to the fruit. As in every vintage, this a terrific expression of Soave, with all its quirks and surprises. It is a quite full-bodied and richly flavoured rendition with big aromas of pineapple, honeysuckle, tea, straw and the region’s waxy/flinty volcanic note. Very good flavour intensity, acidity and energy here. Quite lemony on the finish, the length is excellent. Tasted July 2025.
