The nose shows notes of strawberries, sweet cherries, praline, roasted meat and mixed spices. It’s medium-bodied with fine tannins. The palate is dry and velvety with tannins that ride atop of the fruit structure in balanced proportion. This is a good, hearty wine that would spruce up a dinner party or Tuesday evening at home. Named after a massive design on the ground often made with stones, this Tannat-Cabernet comes from some of the top sector old vines of Madiran. This is a rich, impressive wine, packed with tannins and the potential of black fruits. Its structure is still prominent and needs more time. Drink from 2026. This great sipper has generous melon, strawberry and citrus notes and the rich ness and freshness for grilled chicken breast, grilled salmon, veggie burgers and grilled veggies.
