Benjamin Bridge’s winery, nestled among the verdant hills of Gaspereau Valley.

BENJAMIN BRIDGE WILD ROCK WHITE 2024 6 Nova Scotia

Claiming bragging rights as Canada’s original wine region, Nova Scotia was first planted with wine grapes by French settler Louis Hébert way back in 1611. Its first commercial winery arrived in 1980, and today there are a total of 22 scattered across the province. It’s difficult to overstate the role the Atlantic Ocean plays in shaping Nova Scotian wines, especially considering that all its vineyards are situated within 20 kilometres of the coast. One of the coolest climates in all of Canada’s wine scene, Nova Scotia is particularly suited to producing sparkling wine. Its signature varieties include L’Acadie Blanc, Seyval Blanc, Muscat and Maréchal Foch.

Founded in Gaspereau Valley in 1999, family-run Benjamin Bridge is certified by B Lab for positive social and environmental commitment. This delightfully perfumed wine is an eclectic blend of Ortega, l’Acadie Blanc, Chardonnay, Geisenheim, Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc.
