As the fruit expands across the palate, a balancing pithiness comes into play alongside tangy, fresh acidity and even a hint of salinity on the finish. SAN PEDRO 1865 SELECTED VINEYARDS CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2022 DO Valle del Maipo, Las Piedras San Pedro produces no fewer than a million liters of this red, an ocean literally made of cabernet sauvignon from the Alto Jahuel zone, along with 40% Linderos, all in the Maipo Valley. And the result is delicious – a cabernet with a great deal of varietal presence, very focused on the herbal notes and ripe red fruit. The tannins are firm and corpulent, and the acidity is juicy in a wine that delivers excellent value for money.
