Vintages New Release Collection – February 21, 2026

CHENIN BLANC The versatile Chenin Blanc is used to make dry, sweet and sparkling wines. Examples from cooler sites such as Elgin tend to be unoaked and have delicate fruit tones. Warmer areas like Stellenbosch produce wines with a greater intensity of tropical fruit, with some seeing oak. Swartland Chenin is quite rich, with notes of quince, honey and baked apple. KASTEELBERG CHENIN BLANC 2025 WO Swartland, sustainable In Swartland, vines are planted on rolling hills and mountainous slopes, like those of the Riebeek Valley’s Kasteelberg Mountain where this wine was grown. The mountain offers shade in the evening, which works with the cooling breezes from the Atlantic to moderate the area’s hot temperatures.
