Vintages New Release Collection – February 21, 2026
PINOT NOIR Marlborough Pinot Noirs are notably balanced and generous, with bright, exciting fruit flavours, spice, herbs, and ocean-influenced minerality. Those from Central Otago are grown in schist, pedogenic lime, alluvial gravel, rounded gravel, clay, silt and sand soils and are fruit-forward with robust tannins.
PINOT GRIS North Island wines are ripe and unctuous, while those from the South Island tend to be more aromatic and structured. Many producers add texture and depth to their wines through barrel ageing.
ERADUS PINOT GRIS 2024 Awatere Valley, Marlborough, South Island The Awatere Valley is a subregion of Marlborough characterized by river terraces and rugged hills. Tight, structured, versatile and food-friendly, New Zealand Pinot Gris has more in common with those of Alsace rather than northern Italian versions. 93 points (Sam Kim, wineorbit.co.nz) Aromatic & Flavourful 439000 (D) 750 ml $21.95 2
