Reif Grand Reserve Vidal Icewine 2023 97 points (Platinum Medal) Decanter World Wine Awards 2025 Reif was a pioneer of Canadian Icewine and produced one of the first examples of the style in 1984. Today, the grapes for the Reif Grand Reserve Vidal Icewine come from the oldest 12-acre block of Vidal vines, which were first planted in 1981. These older vines bring a level of complexity and flavour concentration that simply must be enjoyed to be believed, with rich, dynamic, expressive apricot, peach, tropical fruit and honey. This wine was fermented and aged in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve even the most delicate of the complex fruit flavours.
