SANTA ALICIA GRAN RESERVA DE LOS ANDES CHARDONNAY 2024 Valle del Maipo
THE OWL & THE DUST DEVIL REMOLINOS VINEYARD MALBEC 2021 Agrelo, Mendoza This is a selection of vines grown on sandy soils in Decero’s vineyard in Alto Agrelo. Aged for 14 months in barrels (20% new oak), this is a red with a juicy and fruity expression of the variety, very much in the style of the new Agrelo malbecs, which usually have this profile of tart cherries and flowers. The body has firm tannins and friendly acidity in a red that’s both very well balanced and very juicy. Score: 92 (Patricio Tapia, guiadescorchados.cl, 2024) Full-bodied & Firm 36310 (XD) 750 ml $19.95 2
Made in a rich, robust style without sacrificing elegance, this Chardonnay delivers ripe tropical fruit and toasty notes and a bright, balanced finish. Pair with roast pork or carnitas. Full-bodied & Rich 406991 (XD) 750 ml $18.95 2 Featured in What Chile Does Best
VOLCANES DE CHILE RESERVA SAUVIGNON BLANC 2024 DO Valle de Leyda
How do you make a value-priced Sauvignon Blanc bursting with lime, grapefruit, lemon, garden herbs and gentle spice even more exciting? You source the wine from volcanic soils. Minerality in wine can be difficult for many to identify, but wines sourced from volcanic soils have such an immediate, distinct character – often described as a salty sweetness – that everyone can experience an “aha!” moment. CLOS DE LUZ MASSAL 1945 CARMENÈRE 2023 DO Valle de Cachapoal
CHILE WHITE WINE
MONTES LIMITED SELECTION CHARDONNAY 2023 DO Aconcagua Costa
Massal 1945 comes from Clos de Luz’s oldest blocks in the Almahue Valley, planted in 1945, and is a very clear example of the variety in one of the most traditional areas for carmenere in Chile. The nose is pure notes of sweet peppers, the palate is full of red fruits, and the tannin texture is firm without being aggressive. A mouthwatering wine full of fruits that shows the carmenere bare, with no complexes, and offering all its herbal side. [Drink through 2033+.] Score: 94 (Patricio Tapia, guiadescorchados.cl, 2025) Full-bodied & Smooth 11861 (XD) 750 ml $24.95 2 Featured in What Chile Does Best
Unoaked and modern, this Chardonnay has a broad appeal that will satisfy a wide range of palates, and this is all accomplished without sacrificing an emphasis on fruit and terroir. It was aged in concrete eggs, preserving even the most subtle aromas and flavours. Bright and fresh, with mango, pineapple and papaya. Sip or pair with sushi. Full-bodied & Rich 44281 (XD) 750 ml $17.95 2 Featured in What Chile Does Best
