This is a dry, very drinkable, and attractive cabernet sauvignon that ticks all the boxes effectively. Aged in concrete, it delivers quite pure flavours that are led by dark and red berries, with nuances of spice and torrefaction. The acidity and fruit are well balanced. The tannins are resolved and it’s ready to drink from now to 2027. (Tasted October 2025.) Features lithe tannins and plenty of volume en bouche, with flavours of plum, licorice, and dried red currants. Potent aromas of bold cherry and berry fruits meet with prominent clove, nutmeg and caramel candy aromas on the approachable nose of this bottling, which is mostly Grenache with a “little” Syrah and even less Carignan. The richness of the berry-laden palate is cut by flashes of garrigue and thyme, with a peppery finish. Best Buy.
