Even in cool climates, Full-bodied & Rich wines can be achieved with longer hang time in the vineyard, extended skin contact, malolactic conversion (which brings rich buttery notes) or new oak barrels. And even in warm climates, Light & Crisp wines can be achieved by harvesting early, limiting skin contact, and avoiding oak in favour of stainless steel or concrete. This incredible stylistic range means there’s a Chardonnay out there for everyone.
