The nose is very lifted as expected from riesling with almost tropical pineapple, honey, light toast and petrol. Quite compelling. It is light to medium bodied, ož-dry yet still so brisk and energized. Excellent flavour intensity and length. Tasted Nov. 2023. Lees aged for 24 months, it has rosehip and potpourri aromas, flavours of toast and wild strawberry and nine grams of dosage. Drink date: 2025-2028. Fragrant with poached pear, vanilla, fine herb, chamomile, thyme and sweet baking spice flavours sweet and vibrant on the palate, sip it chilled on the rocks or pair it with cured meats and pickled vegetables. Also try it chilled in a cocktail of one part vermouth, two parts tonic with a citrus garnish. Drink date: 2025-2029.
