REIF IT’S COMPLICATED ROSÉ 6 VQA Niagara River, Niagara-on-the-Lake, sustainable The 2024 vintage recalled the perfection of 2020 and was one in which Bordeaux red varieties shone exceptionally bright, which is great news for this wine. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot, it’s a complex rosé with consistent pear, plum, apricot and vanilla. It will reward some ageing and has the potential to evolve through 2029. LA POSTA GLORIETA PINOT NOIR Tupungato, Valle de Uco, Mendoza

The 2024 Pinot Noir Glorieta hails from Villa Bastías, Uco Valley. Half of this aged for eight months in second-use French barrels, 30% in concrete tanks and 20% in stainless steel. It is fruity and straightforward in the one-dimensional style of some Pinots, with some cherry and sour cherry notes. This is smooth and supple, with a clean, sapid finish of pure fruit. The 2024 Chardonnay Felino is sourced equally from Uco Valley and Luján de Cuyo, with a small portion aged for six months in barrel. Aromas of stewed apple, pear, chamomile and ginger rise from the glass. Broad, rich and flavorful, yet agile, this finishes with inviting wood notes.
