This wine’s attractive bottle invites you to present it as you would a bouquet of roses, and the juice inside is just as fun. A lively, fresh wine with tropical fruit, citrus and herbs atop a mineral base. Perfect for seafood, or vegan pasta with asparagus, lemon and peas. On the palate there are goose berries and passion fruit, showing the nervosité of the vintage alongside sweet fruit and enough flesh to avoid the linear leanness of the year. This is juicy, energetic and delicious, with moderate length. From a blend of grapes coming from some of the top sites in Sancerre, including Grand Chemarin, Petit Chemarin and Grand Champs, the wine undergoes a long fermentation in stainless steel tanks before ageing for eight months on lees. A clean, frank and open style that o’ers reliable value. Drinking window: 2025-2028.
