This wine is sourced from old vines (20+ years) grown in two historic blocks of Rosehall Run’s estate vineyard in Prince Edward County. It was vinified in French oak and spent a total of 20 months maturing in barrels before bottling. Gorgeously graceful and deftly oaked, it suggests crunchy tree fruit, pressed flowers and slivered almond, with a mineral underpinning. Pair with pork tenderloin. Made from 100% estate fruit organically grown on the Beamsville Bench. Fruit is whole-bunch pressed before fermentation in concrete using ambient yeast, after which the wine is aged 10 months in concrete and an additional eight in stainless steel before it’s bottled unfiltered.
