NOVA SCOTIA BLOMIDON TIDAL BAY 6 Nova Scotia

LIEBLING CREEK ROAD VINEYARD GAMAY 6

VQA Four Mile Creek, Niagara-on-the-Lake The Gamay grapes are from the family’s Creek Road Vineyard in the Four Mile Creek sub appellation. The wine was aged for nine months in once-filled French oak barrels. This is classic Niagara style Gamay with a vivid nose of juicy plums, brambly wild raspberries, some floral and forest floor accents and spice notes. It’s mouth filling on the palate with purple plums, earthy red berries, anise, and savoury notes in a bright and juicy style with a smooth, lifted finish. Score: 90 (Rick VanSickle, winesinniagara.com, Sept. 30, 2025) Light-bodied & Fruity 51803 (XD) 750 ml $26.00 1

This is a squeaky clean, bright, beautifully balanced Tidal Bay – the unique Nova Scotia designation that only permits NS grapes in the blend, and that the wine cannot exceed 11%. This sits at 10% using mainstay L’Acadie Blanc with seyval blanc and New York Muscat, the latter projecting the lifted floral and grapefruit aromas. The nose also shows green apple, lime and spearmint. It dances and tingles with great acidity balanced perfectly by some sweetness. Very well made, with very good length. Chill well. Tasted July 2025. Score: 91 (David Lawra son, winealign.com) Full-bodied & Rich 42009 (M) 750 ml $27.95 2 Featured in Beyond Chardonnay
