WHITE RHÔNE BLENDS Rich blends of Marsanne, Roussanne and Viognier (among other grapes), Rhône whites are bold, rare gems, with peach, apple and spice. Despite having a lower acidity than the other wines in this feature, they’re still refreshing, crisp pairings for grilled seafood.

White and yellow peach, apricot and ripe grapefruit aromas fill out the medium- to full-bodied palate. Long, quite zesty finish with a touch of grapefruit peel character. FAMILLE PERRIN RÉSERVE CÔTES DU RHÔNE BLANC 2023 AC, Rhône, France

Perrin are masters at producing good-value southern Rhône wines for the high street, and this is a good example. A blend of Grenache Blanc, Viognier, Marsanne and a little Roussanne, this displays great typicity – fragrant with honeysuckle, peach and apricot stone fruit, delicate but juicy.
