Amaia Amestoy uses Tempranillo grapes from vineyards in the Rioja Alavesa villages of Elvillar, Kripan, Laguardia and Lanciego to produce this floral, bright, nicely layered red. Less oaky than it has been, it has racy blackberry and blueberry fruit and a fresh, chalky finish. Drink date: 2024 2027. It’s a young and unoaked Tempranillo with some 5% white Viura grapes from the village of Baños de Ebro and was kept in concrete until it was bottled. 80,000 bottles produced.
