MEGA SPILEO CUVÉE III RED 2023 PGI Achaia (Cavino) This wine is a blend of equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Mavrodaphne with 20% Agiorgitiko. Vinified separately and aged for eight months in new oak, the varieties produce a complex, layered, ripe wine with generous fruit, chocolate, mixed spices, vanilla and coconut. Produced in Galilee. Carmel was founded in 1882 and has been producing this fine sweet red wine since 1898. It sees no added sugar or water, gaining its luscious, sweet character from the natural high sugar content of the concentrated juice. THYMIOPOULOS YOUNG VINES XINOMAVRO 2023 PGI Macedonia The influential Apostolos Thymiopoulos was awarded Decanter ’s Rising Star honours in 2022. His ability to produce approachable, easy to enjoy, everyday wines that hit well above their price point is on full display here. Made with indigenous yeasts and fermented and aged in concrete, this unoaked Xinomavro is ripe, layered and complex, with cherry, strawberry, sun-dried tomato and spice. Drink through 2028+.
