THE NEW RELEASE COLLECTION

FRANCE ¤ WHITE WINE CONT’D RHÔNE E. GUIGAL CHÂTEAUNEUFDUPAPE BLANC 2023 AOC A sunny, warm style, with chamomile and yellow plum spilling out on the lush palate, flanked by sea salt and dried herbs, plus a waft of smoke. There’s a piercing feel to the energy and focus on the palate, which is shored up with vibrant acidity and finely crushed mineral notes. Generous yet stays beautifully fresh. Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Clairette, Bourboulenc, Picpoul and Picardan. Drink now through 2029. Score: 93 (Kristen Bieler, winespectator.com, Oct. 8, 2025) Full-bodied & Rich 28618 (XD) 750 ml $82.95 2 Online & Flagship Exclusive FRANCE ¤ RED WINE BORDEAUX CHÂTEAU LAROSETRINTAUDON 2016 AC Haut-Médoc, sustainable This is a little reticent than some of the wines presented in this vintage on the nose, but with time it reveals the scents of black pepper, blackcurrant and vanilla cream. The palate shows a very complete substance, fresh and convincing, quite seamless in style, with some ripe grip underneath it. An impres sive composition overall, very elegant and correct, albeit with a flourish of tannins in the finish ... Very good, with fine cellaring potential. [This will hold into the early 2030s.] Score: 94 (Chris Kissack, thewinedoctor.com, Sept. 2018)
