This elegantly framed, complex wine comes from old vines and is rich and round, with well defined fruit, plum, spice, leather and minerality. An impressive wine, perhaps its most striking facet is the value it o£ers. It will cellar for another three years and will be delicious tonight with grilled ribs or eggplant-and-mushroom kebabs. An approachable and well-balanced vintage of Coudoulet that should age well thanks to its tannic finesse, acidity and freshness. Though it is quite a tannic vintage, so give it some time. Drinking window: 2026-2034. It’s medium-bodied, beautifully balanced, and has a vibrant mouth feel and ample length. Drink date: 2025-2032.
