Vinified in troughs made of raulí, the local wood historically used for aging in Chile, this has an earthy side coupled with fresh red fruits. The firm texture is very in tune with the variety. It has juicy acidity, floral notes appear on the mid-palate (it’s 20% grenache), and the finish has lovely fruity and herbal notes. Deep carmine-red in the glass, fragrant with ripe dark berry, dark cherry, chocolate, flinty and fine garden herbs on the nose and palate, the wine is supple and fresh. Lovely now and better in 2025 through 2036 as the wine continues to evolve in bottle.
