The traditional method (a.k.a. the Champagne method) is a labour-intensive, time-consuming process for producing sparkling wines. But it’s totally worth it when you taste the most complex and textured styles it creates. Vintage-dated sparklers are made in only the best years, and unlike non- vintage sparklers, use only grapes harvested within the same vintage year. These wines are uniquely specific snapshots of a time and place, which makes them especially perfect for holiday celebrations and luxurious gifts.
