LANGMEIL HANGIN’ SNAKES SHIRAZ 2023 Barossa, South Australia Full ruby colour. Mulberry and purple pastilles on the nose. Dense and ripe blueberry fruit, a touch of dried plum but doesn’t sit too heavy with a lift of rosemary leaf to freshen it. Good length. Tannins have good grip into the finish. RYMILL COONAWARRA CLASSIC RELEASE CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2020 Coonawarra, South Australia, sustainable Sourced from Rymill’s older northern Coonawarra vineyards. Matured in French oak hogsheads (30% new) for 24 months. One smell/sip and you’re in Coonawarra. Blackcurrant, tobacco and mint flavours with tips of violet and anise. Integrated cedar wood, too. This is immediately appealing on the nose, showing sweet cherry, plum, floral and warm spice aromas with a hint of toasted nuts.
