Vintages New Release Collection – October 11, 2025

Piedmont Situated among the Alps in northwestern Italy, Piedmont is home to farmhouse estates making wines that eloquently express their terroir. Different vine varieties are planted according to their elevation and aspect on the hillsides, with delicate Dolcetto and floral Moscato (for sparkling wines) in the cooler upper reaches; powerfully structured Nebbiolo on the sunny south-facing lower slopes; and softly fruity Barbera in between. A handful of hilly villages specialize in white wines made with aromatic Arneis and crisp Cortese, with the latter especially renowned in Gavi. Wines made from Nebbiolo – including Barolo, Barbaresco and Gattinara – are among the most long-lived in the world, and accordingly, among the most prized by collectors.
