This elegant Pinot Noir speaks of its terroir with clarity and finesse. The nose is lifted and mineral-driven, evoking wet stone, wild liquorice root, and a whisper of rhubarb. On the palate, bright, mouthwatering acidity frames a sweet-edged core of wild strawberry jam with fresh rosemary and a hint of forest floor. This finds very good varietal purity and balance. The nose is fairly generous with raspberry and redcurrant fruit, fresh herbs and oak resin and spice. It is mid-weight, balanced and warming with firm but not austere tannin. With some age better cohesion and elegance is setting in. There is a sense of fine proportion and completeness.
