“The average vine age for this wine is almost 40 years. It’s respectful of the heritage of Chardonnay but also really owns the site it comes from. So there’s a bit of French oak, but it’s elegant and integrated. Any style of creamier sauce would be exceptional with this wine. “We unapologetically make Cab Franc that’s 100% Cab Franc. It’s 100% barrel-aged for 16 months in neutral oak. It’s juicy and actually quite boldly structured, but its acid structure gives it an elegance. It would be great with summer barbecue, and you can also bring it into the fall and have stew with it.
